Rd, pace: 1st loop: pace of slowest rider; 2nd loop:
approx. 16 mph
Tuesday – start 6:00 - Warlick School, Spencer
Mountain Road, pace: 17-20 mph, 34 miles
Wednesday
– start 6:00 – Forestview HS, S.
Union Rd, pace: 17-19 mph, 34 miles
Thursday
– start 6:00 - Warlick School,
Spencer Mountain Road, pace: 17-20 mph, 28 miles
Sunday
– start 9:00 am – Winn Dixie, S. New
Hope Road; pace and route determined at ride start
3rd
Sundays – start
9:00 am – Bethel Elementary, ride with the Rockhill Cyclists, approx. 50
miles
Note: New riders are
encouraged to join us on the Monday rides, which include two loops, 11 and 15
miles, respectively. All riders must
wear helmets and an adult must accompany minors.

Press On Regardless Ride
– October 8th
Gaston
County Cyclists will sponsor our annual Press On Regardless Ride on Sunday,
October 8th. More details

Time Trials at
Charlotte Motor Speedway
On
September 26th, Charlotte Motor Speedway will conduct 10-mile time
trials. Practice starts at 5:00 and the
time trials begin at 6:00. For more

MS Walk Awards –
Gaston County Cyclists!
The
Gaston County Cyclists won several awards for their participation in the
Multiple Sclerosis Walk held this past spring.
In Gaston County, we were the top fund raising club, largest number of
participants, and highest pledge average for a club. Our plaque is proudly displayed at Cycling & Fitness.

Annual Biker / Hiker
Weekend in Bryson City
Our
annual Biker / Hiker weekend in Bryson City was held the first weekend of
August. We hiked off “the road to
nowhere” and biked at Deep Creek and the Tsali Trails. Everyone had a fun and safe trip.
